20/11/2024

With the advantage of its climate, natural landscapes, and the unique cultural traditions of ethnic minorities, Kon Plong District is focusing on developing various types of tourism to meet the needs of visitors, including community-based tourism.

The district has 7 recognized tourist sites by the Kon Tum Provincial People's Committee. Among them are the Kon Pring community-based tourism village in Mang Den Town and the Vi Rơ Ngheo community-based tourism village in Đắk Tăng Commune.

Aiming to develop Kon Chênh village in Măng Cành Commune into a community-based tourism village, the local people are actively upgrading their homes to serve as homestays, decorating the village gates, improving roads, and enhancing their garden areas by planting flowers and green trees. They are also actively participating in ecological environmental protection activities to create a green, clean, and beautiful village landscape, attracting tourists to explore and experience the unique traditional culture of the area.
